Fire up the pick-up and let the good times roll because Chase Rice is back on the road. This expansive series of dates comes in support of latest record Ignite the Night, which infused the North Carolina singer's sound with ever more auto-tune and RnB flourishes. Among the highlights were lead single Ready Set Roll, which barrelled its way into the Hot Country Top 5, and the piano-driven album closer Jack Daniels and Jesus.

The multi-talented Marlon Wayans recently wrapped up a tour with his three of his brothers: Shawn, Damon and Keenan. It was the first time that all four Wayans had been on tour together, and now with that milestone ticked off the list, Marlon is going solo once again, with his slick routines about drinking, hip-hop and celebrity.

The Neighbourhood Poster

The Neighbourhood had a lot to live up to with their sophomore record, following the huge success of 'Sweater Weather' (which hit no.1 on the Alternative Rock charts) off their self-titled album. Fans shouldn't have feared though, as the band returned last year with another equally moody and catchy effort in Wiped Out, this time drawing more noticeably from RnB influences.

Just like her hero Patsy Cline, Brandi Carlile has a voice which seems barely constrained by any equipment attempting to record it. Along with her killer vocals, she's a songwriter of rare versatility, blending bluegrass stomp and tender pop balladry in the blink of an eye.

Creators of majestic synth pop, French band M83 returned this year with their latest record Junk. Lead single 'Do It, Try It' took many fans aback with its jaunty piano line and general air of vaudeville meets Daft Punk, but it was just another evolution from a group always pushing themselves artistically.
